I love that they are so versatile that you can go up or down a size, depending on the fit you want.

/ I love my Levi’s jeans. A classic that has much history; the first ‘real’ jeans. I have 3 pairs – all in the model 501. The only difference between them is that one pair is cut-offs so they have become shorts and otherwise it is only the size that is different. I love that they are so versatile that you can simple go up or down a size, depending on the fit you want. I like the light blue wash the most (clearly). Again, I just think it’s the most classic color and they fit everything I have in my closet. I dont know all Levi’s models, but there are MANY. You can check them out HERE if you want.

Vintage Levi’s 501. I bought these jeans directly from a vintage store via Asos Marketplace – see the current selection of this model HERE. It was a very good experience and it was easy to find the right size. The seller had made a very detailed guide and she also secured before sending me the jeans, that I was sure it was the right size I had chosen. I was offered to send them my waist measurement so that they could find the perfect pair. I think the model is what Levi’s today has named “501 Vintage Skinny Altered” – click HERE to see them. Because my jeans are vintage they have been re-done in the shop (they have become more skinny) and I have even taken them a bit more in myself to make them even more fitted than they were when I received them. If you dont mind putting in some work yourself, I can highly recommend this. Also, the vintage models are a lot cheaper than the jeans you buy new. And seriously, I dont think these jeans will EVER break! They are made in a completely different quality of denim than much of the denim that is made today, which is both super stretchy and thin. But that’s a matter of personal taste. For example, my black skinny jeans are made in the before mentioned thin stretchable material and I like that for that kind of pants.

Vintage Levi’s 501.

Vintage Levi’s 501 shorts. These shorts are also bought at Asos Marketplace – see the current selection HERE. And if you are more in for a pair of brand new ones, you can check the selection HERE. I typically use these shorts at home, when I go on the beach, for a festival or on vacation. I dont use them at work or the like – they are a little too short and casual for that, I think.

Vintage Levi’s 501 shorts.

Levi’s 501 Skinny. I bought these jeans in the Levi’s shop at Union Square when I was in San Francisco back in May. You can find them HERE. I’ve bought my 1-2 numbers ‘too big’ so I get that laid back, boyfriend fit. The cool thing about this model is that you can go 1-2 sizes down, and then you get a nice slim pair of jeans. On the other hand, if you go up 1-2 sizes (like I did withthis pair), you get a more relaxed, boyfriend fit. I think it’s super cool that they have made them so versatile! Then you can get the exact fit you want. And I also like that these have the destroyed effects on the legs and the busted knee.

Levi’s 501 Skinny. Du kan finde dem HER.
