Online colour analysis

Can’t come see me in my studio? No problem! Luckily we can conduct a colour analysis through Zoom. Choose this service if you like the convenience of my express email consultation, but you prefer me to walk you through everything from start to finish during a live meeting.

Personal colour guide included

All colour consultations include a 20 page digital colour guide with:

• Analysis of your colour type
• A digital palette with your best colours
• A guide on how to wear your colours
• A makeup guide and colour palette
• In-person sessions also include a physical wallet with fabric swatches (option to order one if you booked an online analysis)

Digital guide only – printing is not recommended

who is it for?

The online colour consultation is perfect if you would like the convenience of an online service while still enjoying the personal experience of working with a colour consultant in real-time. Unlike the express email consultation, where everything is delivered via email, this option allows us to meet live on Zoom so you can ask questions, receive guidance throughout the process, and gain a deeper understanding of your personal colours.

It’s ideal if you’re new to colour analysis, feel unsure about interpreting the results on your own, or simply prefer a more interactive and tailored experience.

how it works

In its traditional form, a colour analysis requires us to meet in person. Here, we carry out a series of tests together using the draping technique – fabric sheets placed under your chin so we can see which shades suit you best. However, for some clients an in-person appointment isn’t possible — and in those cases, the online option works wonderfully.

As a certified, trained, and experienced colour consultant, I can usually tell what your dominant colour type is the moment you walk through my door – or even by looking at a photo of you. Occasionally, a few small tests or comparisons are needed. In those cases, I’ll simply ask you for a bit more information or request a few additional photos. From there, I make the best possible assessment of which color palette will benefit you the most, ensuring that it matches both your appearance, your lifestyle, and your personality.

Before our Zoom session, you’ll receive a detailed guide explaining exactly which photos to submit and how to take them for the most accurate results. I will review your images in advance and prepare your analysis before we meet.

During our Zoom consultation, I will guide you through your personal colour characteristics, explain the reasoning behind your results, and show you which colour directions are most harmonious for you. You’ll have plenty of opportunity to ask questions along the way, whether you’re curious about your wardrobe, makeup colours, hair colour, shopping strategies, or how to use your palette in everyday life.

Following the consultation, you’ll receive your personalised colour guide by email, so you have everything gathered in one place for future reference.

what you get

During your online colour consultation, we will determine your dominant colour type using a modern and flexible approach to colour analysis. Rather than focusing solely on traditional seasonal categories, we identify the key characteristic that has the greatest impact on your colouring.

Your dominant characteristic will fall within one of the following categories:

• Depth (Light or Deep)
• Undertone (Warm or Cool)
• Clarity (Soft or Clear)

Your dominant colour palette covers approximately 30 of the 42 colours within your broader colour family, giving you a strong and practical foundation for building a wardrobe that works in harmony with your natural colouring. For those who wish to refine the analysis further and identify the final nuances of their palette (the secondary 12 colours), an in-person consultation remains the most comprehensive option. In case I can add them to the online consultation though, I will of course offer it.
