Style: pinstriped blazer and blue jeans.

/ It’s not much we’ve seen of summer in Denmark for the last couple of weeks, despite the fact that the calendar writes mid-June. So I still reach for my boots and my woolen scarf, on those cool, gray days with wind and rain drizzles. I really wanted to wear my lace up sandals, (similar to these), but the weather was not suitable for that obviously. I’m looking forward to wearing them again after I’ve had them storedaway along with a couple of other summer shoes the last couple of summers. It’s funny how you can suddenly fall in love with such items again and that’s something I’ve learned through my years with the capsule wardrobe system!

/ I’m still kind of in an ongoing round of secondhand browsing (still looking for the perfect pair of dungarees!) and I’m actually waiting for the coolest red and white striped long-sleeved t-shirt from the Danish and classic brand Mads Nørgaard, which I bought used on Trendsales. I don’t know if you remember that I mentioned it in my Summer Capsule video that I’d like to be even better at checking out my local secondhand shops and my favorite secondhand webshops when I would like to add new products to my capsules from season to season. Often, it’s very specific items I’m looking for or something in a particular color. I have been good at finding products used for as long as I can remember. But so far most of them are more expensive/high-end products (like my trusty Acne Jensen boots on the picture above that are also a pre-loved item in my wardrobe), and I have realized that you can actually find very nice things from other more budget-friendly brands as well.

Hi 🙂 Great idea going secondhand shopping! My pinstriped blazer is a size 36/38 (slightly oversized), Ichi coat size 36, Inwear blazer size 36 and minimum coat (I assume you mean my down parka) is a size small. 🙂 xx

Hey, thanks! And thanks for keeping it so real and accessible! Found this pinstripe blazer in a 38 (seller doesn’t say 36/38), I’m your height and frame, do you believe it will be too big as you said the style is slightly oversized? I’m PM’ing you about Toulouse so probably easier to tell me all at once x
