It’s been a quite scary amount of time since last time I did one of these posts – but instead of making excuses, I just want to say that this is one of the type of posts I’m really excited about picking back up on, now that I’ll have much more time to nurse my blog. Even though I find winter super cozy, I can’t wait for spring. Style-wise autumn and spring are my absolute favourite seasons (I might have mentioned that quite a few times in the past). I love that you’re able to play around with layers more. Besides there’s something so magical about that time of year when the days get longer and lighter, and everything you’re surrounded by starts to sprout. That smell of spring, nothing quite beats that. Or the very first day where you can feel a slight warmth from the sun, and it’s only just warm enough for you to drop your outerwear. I’m going to miss our lilacs in the garden when we get our house sold, because that’s another smell I really enjoy during the spring months. Those and our lavender bushes. If these are not in the garden of our future home, I might need to plant them…

This spring I’m especially inspired by earthy neutrals, especially paired with all sorts of white and light blue denim. It’s such a nice, timeless way to dress for spring. I’ve already been browsing through different secondhand shops and I’ve found a nice handful of items for my spring capsule. I can’t wait to share it and these lovely items with you all! I’m also super excited to hopefully start adding items in these colours to my own secondhand shop Linger within the next couple weeks.
