Here’s the question 👇🏻 “Will I still like this Here’s the question 👇🏻

“Will I still like this piece when it’s dirty in the wash bin and when it starts showing signs of wear?” 👀

It’s not just a matter of slowing down our consumption habits because, well, our world is literally on fire - something beautiful happens when we keep our clothes in our lives for longer too.

They become sentimental. They become interesting because they start telling a story.

Think about that one pair of favourite boots that have walked all over the world with you, or the bag that’s supported you through daily life for years. Anyone can buy trendy and new clothes. But building personal and lasting style? That’s where it gets interesting to me.

I also find this to be a clever question in terms of reevaluating the quality of something. So before you even buy it, ask yourself questions like how is it going to wash? Do I have the energy to care for it the way it needs? What if it needs repairing, would I be willing to spend time and perhaps money on that too?

They’re NOT just clothes. They’re little pieces of you ✨ #slowfashion #fashionpsychology
