I've always been super self conscious about my ear I've always been super self conscious about my ears 👂In fact, that's why you don’t often see me with my hair worn up, specifically in my videos on Youtube where I'm facing the camera completely from my front 🙍🏼‍♀️

For years I've been telling myself (subconsciously), that my ears are too big, too flappy, too wide and that I don't look good with my hair up, tucked behind my ears or with a cap because it would emphasise this very feature about myself that I don't like.

I'm not saying it's an easy task to practise self-love, but it's a fundamental aspect of maintaining good health, positive relationships and achieving personal growth.

I’m also not posting this because I want people to tell me that my ears are “completely normal”. I know a lot of it is probably in my head, but I just wanted you to know that if you sometimes struggle with insecurities like these yourself; you are not alone ❤️🙏🏻

I've decided to stop hiding my ears. They are part of who I am. And maybe I’ll never learn to love the way they look, but certainly I can reach a higher level of acceptance and change the narrative to a kinder one. Blessed to even have ears and be able to hear, right? And I looove stacking on all my beautiful earrings on them ✨

Besides, who's got time to do their hair every day with a toddler anyway, right? I need that messy bun or a cap in my life every once in a while 🤣

But those kinds of colours also tend to look very heavy on my soft/cool colouring, so I’m keeping the majority of my autumn capsule a lot more “icey” and “crisp” if you will, and that's also quite apt for autumn/winter if you ask me. ❄️ In future years though, I do see myself chasing down some kind of a soft rose brown or burgundy version for the festive season in particular... yum.

Anyway, bottomline is I don't think my sage green suit has to be limited for spring/summer! And I want to get as much wear out of it as I possibly can 👀 I find that adding textures like suede, knit and leather is a great way to make the suit feel a little more autumnal.
