Miild makeup: sustainable, allergy-friendly and just beautiful.

When I was in Copenhagen last weekend I was so lucky to get to meet Tanja who is co-founder of the Danish makeup brand Miild. You guys know, that I’ve been wanting to test out their products for so long, and I finally got the change to do so! I’ve been testing the products for a little more than 2 weeks on a daily basis (and to a party too), and I’m very satisfied with both quality and durability. What speaks to me the most about this brand is that they take responsibility and try to be innovative when it comes to packaging and nasty chemicals all while not compromising with the quality. All the packaging you see on these pictures are from reused cardboard, and when you’re done with your products you can even recycle the cardboard containers. I think that’s pretty cool! Just think about how much plastic the beauty industry is polluting our planet with each year. The fact that this is a Danish brand makes me very happy and proud too.

During my meeting with Tanja she laid down all the products on the table, so I was able to feel them and try them out. I was really surprised about the pigmentation, which I know means a lot to many beauty-gurus on social media. The products are so soft and easy to work with, and then they are allergy-friendly and thus without perfume and other nasty chemicals. This doesn’t make the product less luxurious though! It’s hard for me to pick out just one favourite, but the products I’ve been most excited about is the eyebrow kit, the concealer and the powder. And I LOVE the names on all the products! you can really tell that this collection means a lot to the girls behind. The powder is an organic, oven baked powder which I use on my entire face. Normally I would only use powder to set my under eye concealer and a little in the t-zone where I tend to get shiny, but this powder doesn’t make you “powdery” at all which makes it perfect for the entire face! It’s soaked up by the skin in a beautiful way, and it makes my face so fresh and natural. Then there was the beautiful highlighting bronzer Apricity which sadly was sold out at the time I met up with Tanja, so I need to get my hands on that some other time. I tell you, it’s soo pretty!

One last thing I am very excited about is, that the products are multi-purpose which means you can use for example all the blushes and the eyebrow kits as eyeshadows too. I also like putting the light highlighter Gloaming on my lid! Besides that you can apply a lip balm and then tap on some blush for extra colour on your lips. You can follow the girls on their blog HERE and Instagram HERE. Be aware that everything is in Danish though. I’ll make sure to make a video real soon where I show you how I use their products. Until then I hope you feel inspired to reconsider your beauty habits! You can’t order internationally yet unfortunately, so maybe you should check out the brand Elate or 100% Pure if you feel like changing your makeup game for the better. Haven’t tried any of them myself, but it’s brands you guys tipped me about along the way on my channel.

So beautiful. What a pity, that there is no international shipping. What is the name of the highlighter?
