/ As most of you know I have dedicated a small part of my closet to fancy wear only – see how HERE.Now that all the Christmas parties are approaching many of us (I personally have my first party of this kind coming up on the 18th of November), I thought it would be nice to share some inspiration on festive looks that are all about dressing up for the Christmas season and new years eve as well. The colour red, a little velvet and some glitter are ALWAYS super appropriate this time of year and therefore you don’t have to be afraid of investing in items of such. I bet you they will be on trend next year too. This year I’ve chosen to invest in a little handful of items for my little mini-festive-capsule and all the things I’ve found are from Asos Marketplace. I’m just blown away by how many gorgeous vintage pieces there are that fits the coming holiday season so well! This post is by the way not sponsored by Asos Marketplace, but you guys know I just love their selection. At the moment I am super inspired by Jeanne Damas (just look at my occasional wear inspiration board on Pinterest right HERE), and the look I’ll be going for this year is more feminine with blouses with ruffles, pleats or the like put together with a pair of great straight leg jeans, high heels and a red lipstick. I just love this very French and effortless look.

/ Vintage finds and secondhand items in general have slowly become more of a rule than the exception for my wardrobe, and it’s one of the most sustainable ways to shop for new clothes. Of course you still need to be aware of the quality of the things you buy secondhand, because like with new clothes, it’s not everything you stumble upon that is in great quality. I like going for items in genuine leather, silk, wool and similar natural qualities. When you buy something secondhand you get a unique product, and it takes some effort to really make it feel like your ow and not someone else’s. I’ve made a bunch of tips on that HERE and HERE, and I’l also be doing a more thorough guide on my youtube channel within the near future, so you’ll learn how to find the best items from the not so great ones. For some people in can be quite overwhelming. Anyway, i hope you got some inspiration on working your way through either the local secondhand shops or online to find som nice items for the coming festive season!

Her får du en...
